Both of our boys have gotten taller that Chip and I. The other day I wanted to turn on the fan in Chip's office and I could not reach the pull string so I called Charlie, our oldest. He begins to tell me "you can reach it" and I tell him "no" and he said it again. We went back and forth three times until I finally showed him I was too short. He turns the fan on and we both go to walk out and he says, "I still think of dad and you as taller than me". That put a smile on my face and just blessed me, because that is knowing who your authority is.
