The Jewish Elbow

A Jewish grandmother is giving directions to her grown grandson who is coming to visit with his wife.
"You come to the front door of the apartment. I am in apartment 301. There is a big panel at the front door. With your elbow , push button 301. I will buzz you in. Come inside, the elevator is on the right. Get in, and with your elbow , push 3. When you get out, I'm on the left. With your elbow , hit my doorbell."
"Grandma, that sounds easy, but, why am I hitting all these buttons with my elbow? .........

"What . . . .. .. You coming empty handed?"

You, Hike?

By the look of me you would not guess I like to hike. Okay, maybe it is just walking. But I enjoy it. There is just something about being outside, away from everything house and electric. It is where I can spend one on one time with my family. It is where I feel like I connect the most with my husband and children. There is no distractions. We also like to go walking :) with my sister and her family. It is where you can find out alot about someone.
This is from a hike we took some years back.  I think 2009 or 2010?  Not really sure.

Here is my brother-in-law, husband, middle son and oldest son. Manly Men.
This picture does not give the justice to the beautiful wall of rock behind them.

My sister being funny like she is actually holding this up.

Here she is bench pressing.

This is my niece. Remember when I said you find out alot about people. She does not like exercise. She does not like bugs and the funny thing is she was in Girl Scouts.

My middle son, my sister's polish exchange student, my niece, my daughter and my oldest son.
While in this park, that we have driven past the entrance to for years, I come to realize the gem of a park this is, the deeper we went in the park the more beautiful it was and alot bigger than what I thought it was.

My funny husband acting like he is rock climbing. He actually tried to put this on facebook. He had to confess the truth.
"Where you going?"

After awhile we starting getting tired and some just took off, leaving us behind.

Another great hike and time well spent with family.
